Capital Alliance Underwriting

Capital Alliance requires a Medical Questionnaire to be completed by the member initially. Underwriting takes up to 12 working days and based on the information provided, further medicals may be requested.

Medicals are requested for all members where there is no proof free limit and where the members’ benefits exceed the proof free limit. TSA will request and remind for up to 3 months following the need for medicals arising, thereafter, benefits will be restricted until medicals are received.

With regards to the payment of premiums, Capital Alliance require premiums to be paid in full unless a member is medically declined.  Where there is no proof free limit members will enjoy the Interim Accident Benefit for the first 6 months and, thereafter, will enjoy no cover. However premiums remain payable.
