Tele Underwriting

Capital Alliance offers a tele underwriting option. This allows for the initial medical requirements to be completed telephonically with an underwriter.

Should the member choose to take up the tele underwriting option we would require the following details from them in order to arrange for an underwriter to contact them.

  • A landline contact number for the member
  • Mobile contact number for the member
  • The preferred appointment date and time from the member. The appointment would need to take place 7 days after the request is received.

These details can be emailed through to our TSA medicals team who will coordinate the next steps.

With an average call time of +/- 15-25 minutes, this option is focused on the convenience of the member, is done without manual underwriting forms and with the option of arranging for blood tests, with mobile nurses, if applicable.
