Following the recent TSA Connect relating to the importance of an up to date Beneficiary Nomination Form (BNF), especially in light of the stricter application of the rules around the repercussions when one is not available, i.e. payment then has to be made to the estate of the deceased, we hope that this is fast becoming an important agenda item in meetings with your clients.

We also hope that the TSA BNF that we managed to get approved by all four of our insurers makes the process simpler, especially if a client moves from one of our insurers to another in future.

We are pleased to be able to inform you that, after further consultation with our insurers, we have managed to make this form even simpler, in that we have been able to remove Section B, which asked the employer to confirm the accuracy of the employee’s personal information on the form. The insurers have agreed to allow us to remove this section and you can find the updated and simplified version of the TSA BNF here.

Please note that the form that was made available initially will still be acceptable, but this is the latest version and we will continue to look for ways to make the lives of your clients simpler where we can.

Thank you and regards,
The TSA Team
