The Universal Education Protector is a rider benefit which protects the family against the costs of educating the children after the death of the employee. This will pay the actual costs of educating eligible children, in addition to the normal death benefits.

Benefit includes:
•         Pre-school, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education
•         Public or Private education
•         Book allowance
•         University or Technicon residence allowance

All South African schools and universities are included, as well as universities of technology and recognised institutions providing for a trade. Certain overseas universities are also covered. Education must run consecutively without interruption, otherwise benefits cease. Should a child fail to pass a year of education, no benefit can be claimed for the child to repeat that year.

Should you require more information, please contact your Associate or the office.
