All our insurers provide a travelling nurse service to assist members with underwriting. A nurse can complete pathology (blood) tests and a short medical report, if required.

Should a member wish to make use of this service the following details are required:

The nurse will contact the member directly to arrange a suitable appointment date and time. The member will need to notify the nurse as soon as possible if they are unable to keep to the appointment.

The nurses are outsourced by each of the insurers and are allocated to an individual’s case based on the physical address provided.

The cost of the required medicals is paid for by the insurer according to medical tariff rates, unless otherwise stipulated.

It is important to notify TSA once a travelling nurse appointment has been completed so that we can trace the medicals back to the relevant insurers for timeous underwriting.
